Joleen Black, East Asian Medicine Practitioner

My passion for holistic medicine began while attending Ashmead School of Massage and has continued to grow ever since.  I graduated in 2004 and began my career as a massage therapist while continuing to further my education part-time.

My desire to expand as a practitioner in combination with my personal success with Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, lead me to pursue a degree at Bastyr University. I graduated in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.  Since then, I have maintained a successful home-based practice with a special focus on pain management and injury rehabilitation.

Chinese medicine is a safe and effective way to address a wide variety of health issues.  In addition to pain management, conditions that I most often treat in my practice include: insomnia, stress/anxiety, PTSD, digestive dysfunction, addiction, menstrual dysfunction, menopausal symptoms and immune system dysfunction.

If you have any concerns (specific to acupuncture or herbs) that you’d like to discuss prior to your appointment, feel free to call the office and leave me a message 206-841-4031, or send me an email at joleen.black.medicine@gmail.com.  Scheduling questions can be directed to our amazing front office staff at appointments@ffcwseattle.com.  We look forward to being a part of your healing journey!

Joleen DOES accept Auto Accident patients but does NOT accept personal health insurance. Superbills will be available for patients wishing to submit to their health insurance.
